Our Process
As a Pacific Pride Marketer, you’re in the commercial fuel business for yourself, but never by yourself. Our team is with you every step of the way. It starts with completing a new Marketer application. Once we’ve received this, we’ll assist you through each step of the approval process.
NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT
A Non-Disclosure Agreement or confidentiality agreement is a formal agreement between us whereby you the prospect and Pacific Pride agree to confidentially share information about our respective businesses. We require this to ensure we understand your specific business case and needs.
DISCOVERY CALL & VALUE PRESENTATION
This is a call to get to know you and your management team. The Pacific Pride Account Manager will walk you through a series of Pacific Pride videos and presentations to give you a rundown on who we are, what we do, and how it’s all done to give you the confidence and information you need to evaluate the Pacific Pride opportunity.
WHERE YOU MARKET
We evaluate new site opportunities based on the distance from existing Pacific Pride locations per the Area definitions below.

PROSPECT DUE DILIGENCE & VALIDATION
Getting feedback from existing Pacific Pride Marketers is one of the most important steps you can take to judge how happy you’ll be with Pacific Pride. They’re your best source of information about what really happens in the day-to-day business of commercial fueling. Ask what they like and dislike, and if they’re happy with the support and services they receive from Pacific Pride. Gather a variety of opinions to get a clear picture of the Pacific Pride system and our entire organization.
NEW MARKETER APPLICATION
This is one of the key steps in the Pacific Pride Marketer evaluation process. Pacific Pride requires your completed application for a credit review. Click here for the online application.
INTERVIEW WITH PACIFIC PRIDE
Once the application is approved and the Pacific Pride prospect has decided to move forward with the purchase, a conference call will be scheduled by the Account Manager with a key member of the Pacific Pride Leadership team. The applicant will be asked specific questions to ensure they have done their due diligence and receive answers to any questions they still might have.
IMPLEMENTATION & MEET THE TEAM
An overview of the project plan, stakeholders, timing and tasks will be reviewed with your team. We will schedule regular calls to ensure tasks and timelines stay on track for setting up your Pacific Pride fuel card program and activating your sites on the network. There are a lot of moving parts and we help you by assigning a dedicated implementation manager who will guide you through the process. You will meet with your implementation team via regularly scheduled conference calls.
TRAINING ORIENTATION
Now that you are a Pacific Pride Marketer, the next step is to get you trained as a Pacific Pride card issuer. Your Implementation Manager will help coordinate training on the Pacific Pride back office system – PacPrideNet. There are certain system functions that you’ll need to become very proficient with to setup new accounts, bill your customers and manage your sites. We are here…not only to get you started, but provide support along the way. Plus, pre-recorded webinars are available any hour of the day – 7 days a week. It is ultimately your responsibility to make sure that you are being trained at a pace that is right for you and that you have the information needed to run your Pacific Pride business.
